MMAyou.com has confirmed that our lovely first “Girl of the Month” Anne Rivera is headed off to Afghanistan to support the troops.

The following is taken from a blog post on Rivera’s Myspace: “I wanted to tell you all that I will be going to Afghanistan with the UFC and the US ARMY late AUG. for 10 days. I will be going with 3-4 UFC fighters and I can't believe I have the opportunity to participate in such an experience. MICKEYS did a lot of promotions with the US Army and UFC..I have met some AMAZING people and am grateful to be included in this project.”

Something tells me this will definitely improve troop morale.

Also, according to our friends at www.dansevern.com, it looks like Dan “The Beast” Severn will also be heading to Afghanistan within the next couple of months and possibly Mark Coleman and Travis Lutter as well.
