Wanderlei gives his thoughts on a third match with Jackson
Former Pride Middleweight champion Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva was a guest on MMAWeekly Radio and had this to say about current UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson:
“Of course I want to fight him,” said Silva about another fight with Rampage. “Him and I are going to have to fight, maybe next year, or however I’m going to fight with him. I want to fight him in the Octagon, because I want to beat him here in the United States, in the Octagon.”
Silva also had this to say regarding a possible rematch with Chuck Liddell: “I know I’m going to fight with him again,” he said about a rematch with Liddell. “Because the last fight was a great fight. It was a great honor to fight him, and he’s a great name too.”
Aleksander Emelianenko versus Paul Buentello Affliction announced at its press conferences in Los Angeles and New York that Aleksander Emelianenko (13-3) would be facing Paul Buentello (25-10) on its upcoming Affliction: Banned July 19th event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

Rashad Evans will not fight at UFC 85
The UFC announced via its website that Rashad Evans will not be fighting at UFC 85. Evans was scheduled to originally scheduled to face Chuck Liddell however Liddell was forced to pull out of the fight after a hamstring injury. The UFC then brought James Irvin in to face Evans however Irvin has suffered a broken foot and cannot fight.
