Today's news features the official announcement of Mark Coleman vs. Brock Lesnar at UFC 87, Spen cer Fisher added to the Ultimate Fighter Finale Card, and Frank Shamrock to commentate on EliteXC's May31st event
UFC 87 Card The UFC announced via its website UFC.com that Mark Coleman would face Brock Lesnar at UFC 87 "Seek and Destroy" in Minnesota on August 9th. The official fight card right now consists of: Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Coleman Roger Huerta vs. Kenny Florian MMAyou.com will keep you up to date as more fights are announced. Spencer Fisher added to the Ultimate Finale Card Spencer Fisher will now face Jeremy Stephens at the Ultimate Fighter Finale on June 21st at 9:00PM. The official fight card is as follows: Evan Tanner vs. Kendall Grove Diego Sanchez vs. Luigi Fioravanti Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stephens Josh Burkman vs. Dustin Hazelett Marvin Eastman vs. Drew McFedries Jeremy Horn vs. Dean Lister Frank Shamrock to commentate on EliteXC's May 31st event From ProElite.com: "LOS ANGELES, May 19, CBS and ProElite, the parent company of EliteXC today announced that play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson, analysts Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo and cageside reporter Karyn Bryant will serve as the broadcast team for "CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS" on the CBS Television Network. The "CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS" broadcast team will have the call for the inaugural primetime Network event to be broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., Saturday, May 31 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS." Gus Johnson is a current CBS Sports announcer and has a background in boxing, Kung Fu, and is currently studying Jiu Jitsu.
