Michael Bisping vs Jason Day Michael Bisping was originally scheduled to fight Chris Leben at UFC 85 on June 7th however the fight was cancelled due to a 2005 parole violation by Leben which now has him serving a 35 day sentence in an Oregon jail. The UFC announced that Bisping would now face Jason 'Dooms' Day (17-5) at UFC 85. Bisping and Day had this to say regarding their fight (taken from UFC.com): "Obviously I was looking forward to the Leben fight but I guess it wasn't to be," said Bisping. "You have to respect Jason Day for stepping in on even shorter notice than myself. I am looking forward to really putting on a great performance in London."
Gina Carano to be featured on E:60 tomorrow on ESPN Taken from ProElite.com: "For the second time in a week, an EliteXC fighter will be featured on "E:60." The most recognizable face in women's mixed martial arts, the incredibly popular and talented Gina "Conviction'' Carano, of Las Vegas, will be profiled on"E:60" nextTuesday, May 13, on ESPN.
