Today's News - Kit Cope to appear in second "MTV True Life" Show, Nick Diaz back on the Dream 3 card, Chuck Liddell Special on Spike, and the recently released Adrenaline fight card.

Kit Cope to be featured on "MTV True Life: I'm an MMA Fighter"

Kit Cope will appear again for the second time on an MTV reality show. Cope originally appeared four years ago on "MTV True Life: I'm a Muay Thai Fighter" and the show catapulted him into MMA stardom. The episode was among MTV's most popular for that series.

The episode will feature Cope's debut in the World Fighting Championships which takes place on May 30th.

Nick Diaz back on Dream 3 Card

Diaz's trainer Cesar Gracie confirmed with Sherdog.com that Diaz will in fact be fighting on the card. Diaz is set to face Katsuya Inoue at Dream 3 on May 11th at the Saitam Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. ProElite CEO Doug DeLuca gave the OK for Diaz to proceed with his bout against Katsuya Inoue.

This is Diaz's first fight back since a November 2007 loss to KJ Noons in which the fight was stopped due to cuts above Diaz's eyelids. Diaz has since undergone surgery to make his face less susceptible to cuts due to the sharpness of the bones surrounding his eyelids.

Diaz is scheduled to fight Mushin Orbbrey on a June 14th EliteXC card.

Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell Special

The UFC will air a two hour special on Chuck Liddell on May 31st. The first hour will feature a one hour documentary on Liddell followed up by his bout with Wanderlei Silva at UFC 79.

According to UFC.com:
"At 9:00pm ET/PT, Spike presents the world television premiere of â€œUltimate Iceman: Chuck Liddell," an hour-long documentary which chronicles the life of one of the sport's true titans, in and out of the Octagon."

Spike then debuts a special, "Liddell vs. Silva: UFC® Unleashed-Special Edition" at 10:00pm ET/PT featuring the never-before-seen on cable battle between Liddell and Wanderlei Silva, which was fought last December at UFC 79: NEMESIS."

May 31st also happens to be the date of the EliteXC CBS show. This special by Zuffa could be a move to draw viewers away from the CBS event.

Adrenaline Fight Card

The first ever Adrenaline fight event will take place on June 14th at Chicago's Sears Centre. The card will be headlined by Jeff Monson vs. Mike Russow.
