Marvin "The Beastman" Eastman took time out of his busy training schedule to speak with MMAyou.com: First, how are you doing? Eastman: Great! MMAyou.com: You're set to face Drew McFedries at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale. Please give us your thoughts on this fight. Eastman: Good fighter and I respect all. Correction; some of the guys that fight in the cage. If you got the heart to get in the cage then you got the right to speak about it as a critic. Some people say bad things about the fighters that are not warranted, win or lose . MMAyou.com: How is training coming along? Eastman: I train five to six days a week all the time, but training and fight training are two different things. I start my diet one month out to get my walk around weight from 210-215 to about 195 a week before the fight. Then it is easy to drop the ten pounds of water before the fight cause I will burn off ten pounds of water in a workout session regularly. The training is going great as of this time. MMAyou.com: Are you going to resign with the UFC? Eastman: I plan on winning this fight and resigning with the UFC after I win so I can get me a shot at the title. But, I have to keep winning at 185 for that to happen. So Drew will be my third victim and I don't plan on losing again and losing to anyone at the middleweight.. They seem weak compared to the guys I've been fighting with and the heavyweights that I train with on a regular basis. IE Roy "Country" Nelson, "Big" Eric Pele, Dan Evensen, "Monster" Randelman. If the UFC doesn't want to resign me I've got two to three other places I can sign with, but this is were I want to be cause I've got a lot to prove in the UFC, to myself and some of the hatin ass haters in the game. MMAyou.com: Your last fight was a decision win over a very game opponent in Terry Martin, give us your thoughts on the fight. Eastman: I was disappointed because I had him hurt, and I could of finished him, but I slipped and he got time to recover so that is my bad. He was very disrespectful and not sportsmanlike. We are two brothers in a game that don't have many brothers so we should stick together and not hate on each other. MMAyou.com: You've spent some time in the K-1 arena as well as the cage, how did you get into that? Eastman: They don't pay enough and always try to give me the hardest fights. MMAyou.com: Any chance of us seeing you do that again? Eastman: Highly unlikely unless they start paying better. MMAyou.com: You've stepped in the ring and cage with A LOT of great fighters, who has been your toughest opponent?
Eastman: Rampage. Please visit www.beastmantv.com for more information on Marvin.
