MMAyou.com: First, how are you doing?
Elvis: I am doing well, thank you. At the moment just focusing on getting my fighters ready for their upcoming bouts.
MMAyou.com: You always look so relaxed and ready to go in your fights, what is your secret? Sinosic: I guess it is experience. I have been fighting for over ten years now and I am still going strong. I realize the value of preparation and training properly for a fight. When I know I have trained properly I know that all hat is left is what I need to do in the ring or cage. This gives me the confidence knowing that I am ready to face whatever challenge may be ahead of me.
MMAyou.com: You've stepped in the ring with just about everyone; Ortiz, Shamrock, Bisping, Horn, Sobral, and more. Who has been your toughest opponent to date? Sinosic: You know they are all great fighters. Many of them world champions, and some of them possibly future world champions. Each fighter is tough and a great challenge as they all bring something different to the match. What is the same for all is that they are very skilled and bring heart and determination to every encounter.
MMAyou.com: Do you know who you will be fighting next?
Sinosic: No, I have not got a match lined up.
MMAyou.com: Is there anyone you would like to face?
Sinosic: There is no one in particular I would like to face. I just want to face great fighters and challenge myself with every match.
MMAyou.com: You did a K-1 match with Frank Shamrock some time back, how did that get setup?
Sinosic: I was contacted by Frank and his team. They were looking for an opponent. Initially I believe they wanted a big name Japanese star, but when all that fell through, they contacted me at the last minute to see if I would fill the spot. I was more than happy to step up.
MMAyou.com: Can you tell our readers about your grappling background?
Sinosic: I am a BJJ Black Belt under the Machados. I got my Black Belt from John Will (Head of Machado BJJ Australia). I have been doing BJJ for over 12 years now. I have competed in the Mundial and ADCC World Championships. I love BJJ and grappling. I teach BJJ at my Academy, Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts (www.spma.net.au) in Sydney,Australia.
MMAyou.com: Anything you would like to say to your fans?
Sinosic: I just would like to thank my fans for their continued support, even through my adversity. I would like to thank my training partner Anthony Perosh, and all my students for continuing to give me the drive to push forward. Thank you to my friends and family. Thanks to my sponsors, Atama and Fairtex for continuing to believe in me. To my fans, keep and eye out for me this year as I plan to make waves!
