The fight real MMA fans have been waiting for, was completely one sided.  In the end KenFlo pulled off a third round submission beating the Japanese champ.

The fight was dominated early with Kenny Florians superb stand-up where he picked Gomi apart, and rarely let Gomi counter.  The 2^nd round Gomi had a few punches but not as much as Kenny Florian.  By the 3^rd it was clear who was winning the fight until Gomi came out with a nice combo that rocked Florian, but KenFlo took Gomi down and caught him with a rear naked choke.

Kenny Florian beat a legend in the game and he’s ready to make a run at the belt again.  As for Gomi, don’t count him out as this isn’t a setback just a learning experience.
